Hey everyone! I’m Alex, and I’m happy to be a new member of the starkidculture team. I’m especially excited to share my supernerdycomicbook knowledge with all of you in contributing plenty of the sources for Holy Musical B@tman!

However, AP exams are coming up and I hate myself and am taking 6 of them, so I won’t be able to contribute too much yet, but I’m more than happy to accept submissions and will post plenty as soon as exams are over.

This question confronts me with the fact that I totally let you guys down for ever. I didn’t really enjoy HMB to be honest, superheroes are not my thing so I don’t know much about references there. 

I know a lot of you like this blog, and so much work went into it, I don’t want to close it. I saw the other day that you can put administrators on blogs now, so I was wondering if anyone wanted to take over? 

Send me your candidature by next friday with a few lines why you want the job, what you plan on doing with the blog, and any other experiences you might have had with running something for a “large” audience considering the blog has almost 1000 followers.

I tried to submit this as a video, but the submit button for a video post wasn’t showing up. I’m also terrible with technology anyway.
So I was rearranging my VHS collection and found a Disney Mini Classic: The Reluctant Dragon. I started watching it only because of the reference in AVPM, but then I saw this part.  It might just be a coincidence, but the dragon singing sounds just like the dragon in Hey Dragon… the little boy also says “Hello, Dragon”. Even if it’s just a coincidence, it still made me giggle. “Lalala la la…”

Second thing is that I think you missed the GLEE reference in Starship?? i've been through your archive a few times but I couldn't find it... Sorry if I just missed it, it's in act 2 part 7 at 0.50
I've never made a picture-thing, I don't even have a tumblr account so sorry about that;)

but this is one of many cases where people have trouble finding reference that have already been posted. I’ll look into a way of making this easier for you guys. If you have ideas don’t hesitate to send them my way! I think I’ll go back and describe the references in text in the post. Maybe this will work with the search bar since it doesn’t seem to pick up tags.

That’s interesting. Does anyone anyone know if it comes from somewhere specific? That might be the original reference.
